Advancing a Culture of Innovation

What makes ASU #1 in innovation? What about the ASU culture, systems and structures allow for innovation to happen? How do we leverage what we’ve learned from ASU’s past to enforce the institution’s trajectory of innovation well into the future?

The Office of the Knowledge Enterprise Architect enables learning from the past for the advancement of the future. Through storytelling and narration, our goal is to institutionalize this knowledge and drive an innovation mindset deeper into the culture and memory of the university. We aim to capture, curate and translate knowledge of how the institution takes on broad challenges and what allows individuals and groups to solve problems both large and small.

"It wasn't any flash of brilliance by any brilliant person along the way ... What we did was iterate, slowly but surely, through this process ..."

- Chris Wharton, Associate Professor, College of Health Solutions
