Partnerships for Purpose: Innovation, Cultural Capital, and Resilience

PURPOSE: To bring members of the greater Phoenix community together with ASU faculty, administrators and students to develop plans to make existing partnerships more effective and to propose new ways to collaborate.
PANEL SESSIONS: Panels were composed of both ASU and community representatives with expertise on the topic. The facilitator opened with no more than ten minutes of comments, then turning to the panelists for lively conversation and recommendations. Audience participation was encouraged.
AUDIENCE: ASU faculty and administrators, graduate students, and members of the greater Phoenix community, especially those who have had some prior collaboration with ASU.
OUTCOMES: Video highlights on appropriate websites, symposium proceedings, and a report of recommendations for action.
